Notebook Gymbros

Your gym spreadsheet, as an app.

Programs, sessions, and progress in a workbook UI built for lifters who already think in schemes, RIR, and 1RM.

Preferred language

The problem

Spreadsheets work — until you're under the bar.

Templates scatter across Drive. Formulas break. Phone logging means squinting at rows while the rest timer runs. Notebook Gymbros keeps the workbook mental model and makes it usable in the gym.

Features

Everything your Excel training file already does — on your phone.

01

Program sheets

Up to four active programs with blocks, order, and Schemes A/B/C. Max, volume, and estimated 1RM stay computed — workbook parity, not guesswork.

02

Session log

Dense grid logging: exercise, scheme, up to five rep/weight pairs, RIR, RPE, and notes. Progressive set reveal keeps the sheet focused mid-session.

03

Progress graphs

Track top weight, volume, and estimated 1RM over time with scheme and date filters. Epley estimation with tested 1RM override when you have it.

04

Week + cardio

Map days to programs with comments. Log cardio with tempo, zone, output, and notes — same utility language as the strength sheets.

How it works

Three steps. Same mental model as your workbook.

  1. 01

    Build the program

Lay out blocks and schemes the way you already do in a sheet. Computed Max / Vol / RM stay visible.

  2. 02

    Log the session

Enter sets under the bar with RIR and RPE. The grid autofills from your block so you stay fast.

  3. 03

    Watch progress

Open graphs for weight, volume, and estimated 1RM. Export CSV or share program templates when you need to.

FAQ

Questions before you join

Is Notebook Gymbros free at launch?+

Launch access is free for waitlist members. Ads may appear in-session; details will ship with the first public builds.

Which languages are supported?+

English and Norwegian (Norsk) throughout the app, including the exercise library.

Android and iOS?+

Yes. Both platforms are in scope for launch. Join the waitlist and we'll notify you when store links go live.

Does my data sync?+

Sign in with email, Google, or Apple. Training data syncs via cloud so your workbook follows you across devices.

Is this another consumer fitness app?+

No. The UI is intentionally spreadsheet-dense — programs, schemes, RIR/RPE, Max/Vol/1RM — for lifters who already train that way.
